Bar Lobo, first meal in Barcelona

Neighborhood restaurant, food not too shabby, comfortable patio seating.

Fried bait

Patatas Bravas – Fried potatoes with mayonnaise sauce.

Beans and calamari

Cool and hip on the inside

Modern decor

Felt tempted to take a few sprigs of herbs home for the morning omelette

Coffee, Beer, and Wines all day long

Inviting outside

Comfortable for all age groups

Food to eat and play with
Addendum: This has to be one of the more popular restaurants in the Las Ramblas neighborhood. And one of the fewer places that are open longer than a person is out and about on a typical day. No siestas for them, no taking Sunday off, no starting late in the morning…. helpful for hapless tourists who may not never quite manage to sync up to Barcelona’s circadian rhythm.
And I am beginning to believe that you will never go wrong with a glass of cava and a plate of fried fish at any restaurant in the Mediterranean region of Spain.
