About this time, we are starting to get access to Cepheus constellation. One of the first we capture is the Elephant’s trunk nebula for ~11 hours using dual narrowband – Ha and Oiii – filter.

For the longest time, I thought we were looking at the frontal view of the elephant’s trunk, the two dark regions being Elephant’s dual nasal passages. However, it is really the little guy at the bottom, like a raised and curled trunk viewed sideways – far better seen in NASA’s image.
