Wavecrest Open Space Preserve

Looking southward from a cliff at the Wavecrest Open Space Preserve in Half Moon Bay. The preserve is accessible from Wavecrest road. The Wavecrest beach down below is accessible from Redondo or Poplar beach.
The Pillar Point Bluff is barely visible.
Wild flowers on the cliff continue deep into the summer
Wavecrest is a criss-cross of trains on coastal grassland. A large variety of grasses were seeding.
Previous parcels of land that nature is reclaiming back …
The land is mostly featureless.
This 4th of July, Poplar was a wonderfully warm and inviting.
